  Shurikenjutsu
Justin Christou a student of shurikenjutsu, of the Negishi Ryu style, taught by Morihiro Saito Sensei. Shurikenjutsu was a skill practiced by many Japanese schools of martial arts. It has never really been a sole art, but rather a complimentary skill for swordsmen and others who had need for self defense in the past. The shuriken is very versatile and concealable, being useful as a hand-held or thrown weapon with a range of up to 12 meters. The shuriken takes two basic forms, but there are many variations.
